Beautiful Bouquet
This card uses a lovely pansy fan stamp and also an ornare piercing template. Ornare gives a really delicate look to your cards and brings together the Victorian art of paper piercing and today's rubber stamping to give a beautiful elegance to your cards.
Step 1
Ink the top part of the pansy fan using the VersaMark ink pad and stamp the image on to the lilac card. Sprinkle with embossing powder, tap off the excess and heat with a heat tool. Repeat this four more times to give you five embossed images. Carefully cut them all out, leaving a small border.
Step 2
Gently curve the stamped designs by placing them face down in the palm of your hand using a spoon to curl them a little.
Step 3
Fold an A4 piece of white card in half and have a fold at the top. Attach these curved pieces to the right hand side using silicone glue. Start at the top and overlap the pieces as you go down the card.
Step 4
The ornare piercing - Place the ornare template onto the lilac card and secure to the piercing mat with low tack tape or bobble pins. Using spare lilac card, attach the template again but only pierce the centre square design. You will want two of these pieces. Then pierce the centre circle and carefully cut around the edges making sure not to cut to close to the pierced holes, i.e. leave a small border.
Step 5
Attach all of the pierced designs to sliver mirror card, using double-sided tape, and trim them to leave a narrow border of silver.
Step 6
Position the main ornare design onto the folded white card to the left of the Pansy Fan pieces. using double sided tape. Add the first part of the square design, attaching with sticky foam pads. Place the remaining two pieces together with foam pads and then pierce a hole through them and link them together with a small brad. This sample was pierced through the top of the designs and this is later hidden with the flowers. Fix this to the centre of the left hand panel, using foam pads again.
Step 7
The brad will allow the top of the circle to slide where you now add a secret message to your loved one.
Step 8
Finally embellish by adding some of the glitter glue and when this is dry use glue to attach the posy of flowers and ribbon bows.
